10 Things YOU should know before having your car repaired

1. Why is it important to have your car repaired professionally?
Your car is the second largest investment you're likely to make. Preserve its value and your safety by having it repaired professionally.

2. Can I drive my car without it getting repaired?
Never drive a car that could be unsafe because of damages.

3. My Insurance company wants me to take my car into their Drive-in claims center, do I have to do that?
Some insurance companies may want you to visit their drive-in claims center before having your car repaired. You can do this, or you may leave your car repaired. You can do this, or you may leave your car at our shop and ask that the insurance company inspect the car here.

4. Do I have to get a second estimate or appraisal?
There is no law requiring you to obtain more than one estimate or appraisal.

5. Do I have to go to the repair shop my Insurance company wants me to go to?
You have the right to go to the repair shop of your choice. Your insurance company cannot require you to go to a particular shop.

6. Why is your estimate higher than the other estimate I recieved?
Differences in repair estimates are common. A lower estimate may not include all necessary work. If you're not sure why one estimate is different from another you've recieved, please ask us.

7. Are all Body shops equal?
No. You should choose a shop that has unibody repair equipment and certified (by I-CAR or ASE, for example) technicians.

8. What should I ask about the parts that are used to repair my car?
Ask if the shop will be using genuine manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts.

9. What about Warranties?
Ask if the shop offers a repair warranty.

10. What if my insurance company doesn't want to cover my entire claim, will you help me?
